INTERNATIONAL TOURISM
Our aim is to provide students the new and enhanced knowledge of the 21st century tourism and nurture them in a true spirit of hospitality.
The WTO (The World Travel Organization) predicts the advent of the age of great travel and therefore the travel industry will see its great leap into the new century.
We offer Travel Management, Information Technology, and Comprehensive Policy Planning as three models of courses for the students to choose. These models include courses to teach comprehensive practical knowledge about 21st century tourism but will be enhanced with the spirit of hospitality.


Eligibility for Enrollment
The foreign students desiring to enroll must meet the requirements stated in (1) and (2) below, and must be 18 years of age as of 31 March 2002.
The students must possess foreign nationality (citizenship).

(1) The individual must have completed 12 years of required education in foreign countries (including graduation expected in March 2002) or have similar condition approved by the Education Science Minister.
(2) The individual must be able to attend classes in the Japanese language (who passed the written Japanese test prepared by our school corporation including the interview), and possess Grade 2 or above of the Japanese Language Ability Test.

In order for the students to lead a fruitful school life, various events are arranged for the newly enrolled students during the orientation period.
Coping with each event seriously can further broader and deeper the students school life.


Part Time Job
Many of the students are engaged in part time jobs at Huis Ten Bosch. Training is necessary at HTB before Appearing in the public. To realize what was studied in the classroom, and engage in professional work means, not only to earn money, but add great advantage to those who strive to major tourism or Social Work.


Facilities
We are putting great effort in establishing our school campus to cope with the mass media society, and environmental barrier free 21st century.
The computer classes can be held in the media center, and every building is equipped with LAN Connectable Outlet, while in school, students are able to use cell phones to get necessary information from the home pages. Braille induced walk way is available for the disable individuals. Additionally, we have an exceptional tea ceremony room, and Tea ceremony license can be obtained after taking 4 years of training. Other fine facilities are school cafeteria, library, tennis court, gymnasium, etc. for the students to enjoy during their school life.


Extra Curricular Activities
Since the opening of Nagasaki International University, in April 2000, there are currently 12 physical type clubs, and 11 cultural type clubs actively going on. Among them are activities designed to meet the characteristic of Nagasaki, as well as those engaged in international exchange. Choice can be made to suit individual interest.
