Mr. Mitsuaki Sato

"The Fulbright program--which enables youth to realize their dreams--opened the doors to more opportunities and broadened my horizons."

As a Fulbright graduate student, Mr. Sato studied International Economics at Columbia University. He has held important posts in the Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) working in the front lines of Japan's foreign trade negotiations, and is currently an International Trustee of Kiwanis International. Mr. Sato was recognized with the Order of the Sacred Treasure, Gold Rays with Neck Ribbon in 2006.
