講師プロフィール:
Dr. Kristin S. Williams is currently Assistant Vice President for Graduate and Special Enrollment Management at The George Washington University. Previous roles at GW have included Director of Administrative Operations for the Columbian School of Arts & Sciences and Assistant Dean for Health Sciences Programs in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. During her over 25 years in higher education, Dr. Williams has worked in recruitment and admissions, curriculum development, grants management, alumni relations, and student services.
Dr. Williams is a past-President of the National Association of Graduate Admissions Professionals (NAGAP) and was awarded that association's Distinguished Service Award in Spring 2007. For over 10 years she has served on the faculty of NAGAP's Professional Development Institutes and has participated yearly in the Department of State's US-based training program for overseas educational advisors. She has presented at numerous annual conferences, including NAGAP, the Council of Graduate Schools, the Northeastern Association of Graduate Schools, the Law School Admissions Council, and the Association of International Educators (NAFSA).
In 2005, Dr. Williams helped revise the Council of Graduate Schools' policy handbook for graduate deans, An Essential Guide to Graduate Admissions. Her articles have appeared in NAGAP's newsmagazine, Perspectives, and the Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officer's publication, College and University. |
